• Outbreak.org HPS Directory
  A very complete and ambitious online directory of North American and Asian hantavirus fun facts at outbreak.org. Strives to post recent SNV/HPS outbreak information. (Be sure to visit their FAQ with information compiled by Brian Hjelle.)

• ProMED: Program for Monitoring Emerging Diseases
  An international electronic conference pertaining to diagnosing, preventing, treating, and controlling emerging diseases and outbreaks.

• Hantavirus Reference Laboratory
  This is the web site for the lab of Brian Hjelle, M.D., with the Emerging Viruses Research Center and University of New Mexico School of Medicine (Albuquerque, New Mexico).

• Tony Schountz, Mesa State College
  This is the web site for the lab of Tony Schountz, Ph.D., with the Department of Biological Sciences in Mesa State College (Grand Junction, Colorado).

• The Research Laboratory for Vector-borne Diseases (LVD)
  A research facility at Queen Astrid Military Hospital in Brussels, Belgium. It focuses on European hantavirus and other epizootic agents.

Online Publications

• The Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR)
  The online version of the CDC's serial publication dealing with infectious diseases. Summaries of "notifiable diseases" can also be found online here, which includes information pertaining to HPS.

• Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID)
  The online version of the NCID's peer-review journal about identifying new diseases and tracking existing ones. Lots of HPS-related articles exist; all issues of EID are available online since publication began in 1995.
